Caring for your hair may seem like an easy and effortless task to do, but it’s actually more than just slathering on hair products and giving it a quick blow. For women with long hair in particular, using the correct and effective products is essential to prevent your hair from getting tangled and frizzy.
If you’re wondering why your hair is not at its best shape, chances are you’re making mistakes you don’t realise you’re making. From the amount of products to apply to the correct hair dryer heat setting to use, Kate Bryan points out all the wrong techniques women often make when caring for their hair, and shows us how to do them the proper way.
Mistake 1: Drying hair too soon
How often do you start drying your hair as soon as you step out of the shower? Turns out, doing so can cause excessive damage to your strands. Wrap it up in a towel for a couple of minutes or let it air-dry before you blow it dry.
