Experiment your look inspired by a Haute Couture runway show.
A classic cat-eyeliner can change one’s look in an instant, but what if you want to turn your look up a notch inspired by the beauty looks of the recent Dior Haute Couture Fall Winter 2016 runway show.
“I wanted to create, for more than forty looks, a free variation on eyeliner. It was a challenge to customize the look each time in an unusual and audacious way, creating make-up that was made-to-measure, just like Haute-Couture is,” says Peter Philips who is the Creative and Image Director for Dior Make-up. He took his creativity with graphic eyeliner on each model, making it work on adapting each look suitable to each of the model’s eyes and eye shape.
Using the precision of DiorShow Pro-liner Pro Black or Diorshow Artpen Catwalk Black, Peter had exaggerated, underlined, framed or ringed, the models eyes as the center of attention to the face as eyes were the dominant feature of the look. Besides black, some models wore gold eyeliner to match with the runway that has a touch of gold in the décor. Using Dior Addict Fluid Shadow Phenix, Philips had “envisaged these looks as punctuation, applied with a brush in broad gold colour-blocking, to obtain a dramatic, gold, textured effect.”
When the eyeliner is set, curl your eyelashes and apply one or two coats of Diorshow Iconic Over Curl Over Black or the Diorshow Pro Black to your natural lashes and finish up the look with natural lips with a lip balm or a lip tint with a little bit of pink for that natural look. There you have it, a fierce and edgy look to try for the weekend for your girls night out!
