Chanel’s New Campaign Wants You To Take A CHANCE!

The new year is all about taking chances. You could take a leap of faith to trust a stranger and discover that they’re the love of your life or you could give that dress a chance and nail that job interview in it. Whatever your desire may be, you won’t know the outcome until you take the chance!

That’s the kind of message Chanel’s new Chance campaign is trying to convey. The brand presents the campaign through a series of four mini-films featuring four lovely modern-day women; actress, Angela Yuen; model, Selah Marley; model and actress, Belen Chavanne; and actress, Lily Newmark. Each of the ladies talks about their own personal experiences about that particular moment that they went out of their way and took a chance on something.

Shot in the beautiful Italian city of Venice and directed by award-winning Canadian director, Eva Michon, the short films are presented through a circular view edit with four tinted hues taken to represent the Chance Chanel perfumes – Chance Eau Tendre (grapefruit-quince, jasmine and white musk), Chance (a blend of pink pepper, jasmine and ambery patchouli), Chance Eau Fraîche (citron, jasmine and teak wood), and Chance Eau Vive (grapefruit and blood orange).
