The Brightest, Cutest, Boldest Makeup Looks You Can Wear

Vivid-coloured, fruit-inspired makeup looks are something most of us wouldn’t dream of wearing. But banish the thought! Makeup is for experimenting, and nothing says fresh and vibrant like these pops of colour!

We show you how to pull off a fresh makeup look and vibe using fruity-coloured makeup wherever you go. Have fun!

LIFE’S A PEACH

Rid all your Monday blues by stepping out of your front door in this peachy perfect look.

Brush on some matte peach-toned shadow on your lids, moving it upwards towards your crease. Then, apply a darker warm shade on the outer corners of your eye.

Once done, dab some peach highlighter on your forehead, nose and chin and enhance the look by applying some bronzer on your cheeks. A light peach or nude lippie will go perfectly well with this look.

ORANGE POUT

At a glance, Lupita Nyong’o with her signature bold orange lips comes to mind. Just like her, pull off this look by keeping your overall look simple when attending a gala dinner. You’ll make statement, alright!

Fill your lips in a subdued shade of orange lipstick and line the borders with a lip pencil for a fuller look. With that done, some mascara and bright peach blusher is all you need!

LEMON LINERS

Sunny beach parties are the best, all you need is some eye shadow for a #YOLO shot that’ll shine brighter than the sun!

Start with primer, then use a yellow liner to draw the outline of your lower lid. Then, with a small shadow brush, dab some yellow eye shadow along your lower lash line, working your way towards the inner corner of your eyes.

To complete the look, fill in your eyebrows using a yellow brown pencil.

WATERMELON STARES

Go for a rave with this look and trust us, you’ll have heads turning for all the right reasons.

Using liquid red shadow, outline your creases with liquid red shadow. As you reach the ends, slowly wing it out and downwards so the end meets the tip of your eye.

Line your upper lash line with black eyeliner, extending the outer corners to meet the red shadow (we like RD 711 from Shiseido). Now, fill in your waterline using white liner and your lower lash line using green eyeliner to make your eyes pop.

Brush on some red blusher and apply some mascara and voila, you’re good to go!

BLACKBERRY KISSES

Let the spark between you and your date ignite with this alluringly juicy look.

Once you’re done exfoliating your lips, apply a layer of concealer to give it a neutral base colour. Then line your lips using a light purple liner and fill in the remaining part using your regular purple lipstick.

Next, using a brush, add a coat of gloss on your lips that’s in the same colour as your lipstick. Lastly, outline your lips in a darker shade and conceal to clean up the edges. Mascara and a brow pencil

A light touch of mascara and a brow pencil is all you need to complete this look.
