An In-Depth Look At Priyanka Chopra’s Wedding Makeup

The fairy tale wedding of the year has finally happened, and we can’t say we didn’t expect it!

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have now wed after what feels like only months after rumours of their dating (and subsequent engagement). And being us, all eyes were on Priyanka’s makeup – which was stunning.

Makeup artist Yumi Mori used Marc Jacobs Beauty exclusively to create a soft and natural look. According to Yumi, she wanted Priyanka’s makeup  to match the spirit of her wedding dress, a couture Ralph Lauren gown that took 1,826 hours to make and is only the fourth that the designer has ever designed – and the first for someone outside his family. It’s fitting and touching gesture, given that Priyanka and Nick’s appearance at the 2017 Met Gala as guests of the designer was a hallmark in their early relationship.

But back to the makeup!

Priyanka wore fresh skin with perfectly balanced hints of color on cheeks and lips. For the skin, which was satin and flawless hint of dewiness in sight, Yumi created “a beautiful, almost airbrushed, but still natural-looking complexion” using two upcoming Summer 2019 launches from Marc Jacobs Beauty: the Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder, a perfecting powder that blurs imperfections, and Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick , a creamy concealer stick.

“I wanted her skin to shimmer and glow so I dusted on the new Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder in Scarlet to give her a warm, luminous look after I evened out the complexion with the Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick,” Yumi explained.

Scarlet setting powder? Sounds intriguing! We won’t get a look at these two products until May next year though.

Yumi also kept it simple but striking for the eyes, using the coral shade, On The Dance Floor from the Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Fantascene (RM202) to complement the softness of her fresh skin, and coated Priyanka’s lashes with Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara (RM122) to bring out her eyes.  Yumi went for red-stained lips, courtesy of the Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Boy Gorgeous (RM117), to finish the look.

Congratulations, lovebirds!
