Adwoa Aboah Fronts Marc Jacobs Beauty 2018 Campaign

2018 hasn’t started yet and Marc Jacob’s beauty is already winning our hearts by announcing that model and founder of GURLS TALK, Adwoa Aboah is their new face for the 2018 campaign!

Shot by David Sims, Adwoa represents the new wave of feminism which can be seen through her own  GURLS TALK movement and platform – aimed to ‘provide a space for girls to openly share their experiences in a safe and trusting environment’.

Adwoa and Marc Jacobs are no strangers. Marc Jacobs brought her in for her first runway debut in New York City. “Marc gave me my first fashion show in new york city. it was a dream come true and from that point on, he has been one of my biggest supporters,” she said.

“I am so excited to be the new face of marc jacobs beauty, and to have been able to work alongside marc once again is truly inspirational. His attention to detail is like no other and you see his vision instantly come to life.” added 25-year-old.

Joining the band of former and current brand ambassadors like Jessica Lange, Edie Campbell, Winona Ryder, Aya Jones and Kaia Gerber, Adwoa will definitely bring a certain je ne sais quoi to the brand’s cosmetic line.

That’s not all, not only does this first campaign picture features the latest product which is set to release in Spring 2018, but a new liquid lipstick and crayon hybrid lipstick.

The Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon is the first of its kind, where it’s a liquid lipstick in crayon form. This hybrid allows users to apply the product with more precision and control. Not only is it super-pigmented but it also has some subtle shimmers called the ‘Ghost Pearls’ so there’s more dimension to your lippies. The lip crayon promises a total of 16 hours wear.

Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon will be available at Sephora stores and from December 2017.
