Hear, hear! A new fragrance has arrived!
If we had to choose one season out of the year (even though we only have two in Malaysia – extremely hot or extremely wet), most of us would pick spring as it represents new beginnings. With flowers blooming and leaves sprouting, spring sure is a pretty sight to behold.
That very picture was what gave Issey Miyake the inspiration to create a fragrance from the natural phenomenon of blooming buds and sweet floral nectar.
The L’Eau d’Issey Pure Nectar De Parfum combines honeyed rose, creamy sandalwood along with ambergis and cashmeran accords for an addictive sweet and woody scent. While scents are subject to one’s preference and mood, some choose based on the persona they would like to portray. If you’d like to exude a strong, decisive yet feminine aura, this is a scent you’ll want to check out!
If you’re worried about the longevity, then worry no more cos it’s a Eau De Parfum which means it’s formulated with a higher concentration of ingredients that keeps the aroma around longer than an Eau De Toilette. Plus the packaging looks extremely elegant to match. The slender teardrop-shaped bottle designed by Todd Bracher captures the image of water and fluidity; a reflection of the pureness of the fragrance.
Curious about the inspiration? Perfumers Dominique Ropion and Fanny Bal wanted to create a continuation of 2017’s L’Eau d’Issey Pure Eau de Toilette which highlighted the concept of spring. The inevitable result this season features the blooming of flowers and sweet nectar, with honeyed notes that symbolise generosity and serenity. At the same time, sandalwood deepens and accents the floral notes for a perfect marriage of opulence!
