5 Things to Love about the New Coach Fragrance

The American fashion label launches its new signature scent called Coach Eau De Parfum – and it’s just as chic as its arm candy collections.


Ever wondered what your favourite brand would smell like if it was a perfume? If American house of leather, Coach, is your fave, wonder no more because now there’s a signature scent that captures its heritage and youthful spirit. 1. The Inspo


Ever since Stuart Vevers took over as Creative Director in September 2013, Coach has undergone a youthful revamp and it’s no different for its new EDP. Inspired by the spontaneous energy and downtown style of the Big Apple, it exudes a free-spirited attitude that’s simultaneously refreshing and feminine. Think NYC’s cool, cosmopolitan vibe.


2. Chloë fronts the Campaign


She’s been the face of the brand for the past two campaigns and her return for the third time marks her first foray into fragrance. And we’re not surprised that the Coach EDP has got Chloë Grace Moretz spelt out all over it – after all, she embodies the all-American-girl quality quite perfectly: modern, free-spirited, authentic, youthful and definitely a natural beauty.


3. Contrasting Notes

Combining distinct aromas that complement each other extremely well, the Coach EDP opens with bright, fruity notes of raspberry, pear and pink pepper before settling into a sparkling floral mix of Turkish roses, gardenia and cyclamen. After a few hours, it emanates a sensual suede musk blended with cashmeran and sandalwood as the base.


4. Iconic Design


Even the pretty-in-pale-pink packaging oozes a girlie charm.

Aesthetics-wise, the feminine oval bottle pays tribute to the brand’s heritage with elements referencing its signature codes. This includes the spray cap’s reinterpretation of a gold turn-lock that mimics the clasp on Coach bags, a horse and carriage logo subtly engraved into the glass symbolising craftsmanship and a hangtag in ebony leather and polished metal as a finishing touch.


5. #CoachTheFragrance

With a bottle this pretty, we love the fact that there’s an official hashtag to flaunt your Coach fragrance on Instagram.
